I just finished The Cause (saved it for my holiday) thoroughly enjoyed it and am hoping there will be a sequel at some point carrying on Molly and Clare’s story! Well done it’s a great read.

Congratulations Mandy on your debut novel The Cause. I have just finished it. The police interview with _____ was so intense I thought Ted Hastings would suddenly walk in the door. The old Irish club in Brompton, where I was committee member for a couple of years, has long gone. The Catholic club in the book resurrected a few memories. Once again Congrats.

A separate thing that came to mind was that Dave Allen was massively popular on TV and Wogan equally on the Radio at the height of the troubles. A dichotomy your book brought to mind.
