Congratulations Mandy on your debut novel The Cause. I have just finished it. The police interview with ------ was so intense I thought Ted Hastings would suddenly walk in the door. The old Irish club in Brompton , where I was committee member for a couple of years ,has long gone . The Catholic club in the book resurrected a few memories. Once again Congrats.

A separate thing that came to mind was that Dave Allen was massively popular on TV and Wogan equally on the Radio at the height of the troubles. A dichotomy your book brought to mind.
